The U.S.S. Constitution (Yes two S's)

Today for my first Saturday in Boston, I got to wake up at 7:30 (hoorah for sleeping in). We left on a Ferry at 10. Planning for travel in the city is so strange. I have to give myself 45 minutes to get from our house to the office. From the ferry we toured the U.S.S. Constitution, the world's oldest, floating, commissioned, naval vessel.

It was fascinating, and even worth the loss of sleeping in. Our tour guide was a very dramatic member of the navy. He told us about the ship, and its battles. I would highly recommend it to anyone in Boston.

After that was lunch in Little Italy (also very good), and the prayer and worship team met to discuss our plans for prayer, and practice our songs for tomorrow night.

Another early morning ahead (church at 8:30 at Park Street). I'm excited, I've heard good things about this church. So until next time,

wait! First I give you all these words of advice. When going on an extended trip if you buy new shoes for said trip, make sure that these shoes don't rub against your heels, and cause you to bleed all over your socks, and make a 20 minute walk home through the streets barefoot.

Ok, so until next time,
God Bless.

  1. Probably better get some bandaids. Sounds like a good day, so where did you decide to go to church?

  2. Michael - I'm loving following your walk with Christ this summer. What a fascinating experience for you and others in your group. Keep you the good work - and "lap up" every moment.
