Two in a Day!

Okay, so this won't happen a lot, but I had to post another one tonight, just so you all can see how God is working in my life.

Tonight the passage I read from in the Bible was 1 Kings 19. In that chapter one thing that happens is that Elijah goes to the mountain where the Lord will pass by. There's a great wind (perhaps even stronger than what Axtell faced today), an earthquake, and a fire, but the Lord is not in any of those great and powerful things. He is in a gentle whisper.

I was feeling guilty for not going over and watching a movie with some of the other people on project tonight, and it's so incredible that I would be reading this passage tonight. In today's society people who are loud and exciting, and friendly and social, are who are most admired. People aren't always like that though. Sometimes they (me tonight) need to be alone, and just have a quiet night.

One thing is not better than the other. Being social is great, and being reflective is also great. God gave us personalities that have both of those kinds of traits, and I think that is truly wonderful. I'm just amazed when He does things like this that are so relevant to everyday life, and I'm in awe once again. So, until next time,
