Wonderfully Average

Today was exactly that. It was wonderfully average. I don't have any deep insight that is new, and nothing that hasn't already happened once on this project happened today, but all kinds of things happened that would have made for a major story any day before project.

It started out with our prayer and praise team meeting at the Harbor. (Great scene: sitting at the edge of the harbor with the water a 30 foot fall away, gorgeous day, sunny, but a cool breeze coming over the water) We talked about what we were going to do for this Sunday, then realized that this Sunday is the 4th, so we are already ahead for next week's meeting.

Later on I was able to talk about Christ to a complete stranger (no she didn't accept Christ then and there, she happened to be a member of the group Agape that I mentioned Monday night, so she had done that long ago). Then this evening I had my reflection time (Not as great of a scene: sitting in the basement on a lawn chair in my shorts doing laundry) I continue to get a lot out of the Reason for God book, and to top it off I had meaningful conversations with both of my roommates today.

So nothing out of the ordinary happened, and it was one of the most wonderfully average days I can remember. So, until next time,
God Bless.

  1. just got caught up on your past week! i know what it's like to be so fired up in a wonderful setting, then go back to where you came from!praying that God will continue to ignite your heart with a passion for Him that others around will be drawn to.
enjoy Boston on the 4th - looking forward to hearing about it!
