Last year the people who put the video together got a song from one of the bands that performed at Winter Conference (they are good friends with one of the people who works with Campus Crusade). I don't have that luxury, so I've been looking for good free music for a long time.
I went to a site called newgrounds.com/audio they have music that people put up for anyone to listen to and use (for non-commercial work, and they must be given credit) this is known as Creative Commons, and whoever instituted it is a wonderful person.
Now we have a great song to put to our video, so next week it will start coming together.
Today we also went to campus (it will be every Wed. and Fri.). It wasn't quite like Wed., nobody accepted Christ right on the spot, but I am not discouraged like the first time I went onto campus. Then nothing happened because I was unwilling to talk to people, this time people just weren't around, didn't want to talk, or I was able to talk, and they just weren't at the point of accepting Christ. I am able to look at it a lot differently now. It's not the work that I put into it. I could fumble over the Gospel and sound like a stammering fool, or I could speak wonderfully and elegant, but in the end it is God's word and the Holy Spirit that moves people, not anything I do or say.
Knowing that it makes the days were people aren't as willing to talk a lot easier. It's almost midnight here, so until next time,
God Bless.
Sounds like your having a good time. Glad to hear you're getting rain there too I wouldn't want you to feel left out with all the rain we've had here!
